• Phase III, multicentre, open-label, randomised controlled trial in patients with HER2-negative LR or mBC.^1,2
• All patients received paclitaxel
  • 90mg/m² weekly, on weeks 1–3 of a 4-week cycle

• Patients randomised to
  • paclitaxel only: n=354
  • Avastin^© (10mg/kg every 2 weeks, on weeks 1 and 3 of every cycle) plus paclitaxel: n=368.
