  • Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre trial in patients with HER2-negative LR or mBC.9
  • All patients received docetaxel 100mg/m2 i.v. every 3 weeks.
  • Patients (n=736) randomised to
    • placebo; or
    • Avastin© : 7.5mg/kg every 3 weeks; or
    • Avastin© : 15mg/kg every 3 weeks.

AVADO was a large randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial in patients receiving docetaxel in combination with Avastin© for the first-line treatment of mBC
