AVADO: trial design⁹

• Randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicentre trial in patients with HER2-negative LR or mBC.9
• All patients received docetaxel 100mg/m2 i.v. every 3 weeks.
• Patients (n=736) randomised to
  • placebo; or
  • Avastin^© : 7.5mg/kg every 3 weeks; or
  • Avastin^© : 15mg/kg every 3 weeks.
